2023 Cadillac XT5

Drivers who choose Cadillac have a higher standard for their coverage needs. The Cadillac warranty for a new car comes with thorough coverage for the drivetrain, corrosion, and a basic bumper-to-bumper plan. It also includes roadside assistance and a first maintenance visit.

What’s Included in a Standard Cadillac Warranty?

Basic Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty

When you buy a new vehicle from Cadillac, everything should be in working condition from the front bumper to the back. This should last for at least four years, or for the first 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. This basic warranty covers the vehicle for parts and labor for any necessary repairs due to faulty materials or workmanship.

If there are any defects in the tires, this warranty will cover them. Note that the tires being worn out doesn’t count as faulty workmanship or material, so the warranty doesn’t cover that. With this warranty, the vehicle can be towed to the nearest dealership for necessary repairs.

Drivetrain

The drivetrain warranty covers your new Cadillac’s engine, transmission, and drive systems like axle shafts, bearings, and internally lubricated parts. The standard warranty covers your engine for six years or 70,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The covered components are covered for parts and labor for any repairs needed due to defects. These defects may be due to problems with material or workmanship. The drivetrain warranty doesn’t cover wiring, radiators, hoses, sensors, connectors, cooling lines, or coolant.

Corrosion and Rust

Your standard new Cadillac coverage includes protection against corrosion and rust-through as two separate items. Corrosion covers the body and sheet metal for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Rust-through protection lasts for six years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. This protects against a hole in the panel in the vehicle from rust for the duration of the limited warranty.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside Assistance coverage for your Cadillac lasts for six years or 70,000 miles, whichever comes first. This is standard for models from 2013 and newer.

This assistance covers services like towing to the nearest authorized dealership for repair services. It also covers the changing of a flat tire, a battery jumpstart, and a vehicle unlock service. They can also bring you emergency fuel for delivery.

Maintenance

This part of the warranty covers your first maintenance visit, which happens within one year of owning your new Cadillac. This visit includes services like an oil change, a tire rotation for all four tires, and a multi-point vehicle inspection.

This maintenance visit has to happen at the service center of a participating Cadillac dealership. It has to be scheduled within the first year of ownership or the first year of your lease.

This standard coverage plan is one reason drivers choose Cadillac ownership. The peace of mind that comes with a thorough warranty lets drivers focus on the fun of driving a luxury vehicle. Visit Paradise Cadillac today to see our new cars.
