1. Akash Winery and Vineyards

Since 2010, Akash Winery and Vineyards has been establishing itself as a quality vineyard producing excellent wines. Enjoy one of two wine tour experiences available Monday through Sunday at select times. The tours include a stroll through the vineyards and a behind the scene tour with multiple tastings. While visiting, please your taste buds, too, with casual food from assorted food trucks. There’s also live entertainment on the weekends. Reservations are not required.

2. Bel Vino Winery

A boutique winery with traditional ways and old-fashioned attention to detail, Bel Vino Winery produces 30 to 40 wines, which include gold medal winners and some of the top red wines in Southern California. Wine tasting takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. Choose Signature Tasting that includes six 1-ounce tastings of any signature wine. There’s also the Port Dessert Wine Tasting experience. From port and dessert wines to red, white, and bubbly, slow down your day and relax with your favorite flavor from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

3. Baily Vineyard and Winery

Baily Vineyard and Winery specializes in a variety of wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Franc. Tastings are available at two locations. The main tasting room at the Baily Visitor Center features current releases that include red and white wines. Reservations are not required. The Estate Tasting Room offers samplings of aged wine such as Cabernet Franc, Meritage, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Reservations are required. Be sure to stay for lunch from Thursday through Sunday at Carol’s Restaurant and enjoy live music.

4. Avensole Winery

At Avensole Winery you’ll be visiting one of the oldest vineyards in Temecula where grapes were first planted in 1969. Enjoy a complete day of palate-pleasing delights starting with wine tasting of six flavors followed by dining the vibrant setting of the Avensole Restaurant. While sipping wine, listen to live musical performances at the tasting room Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Save time to stop by the shop to purchase a bottle of your favorite wine.

5. Callaway Vineyard and Winery

A visit to Callaway Vineyard and Winery comes with an exceptional experience, beginning with a walking tour of the estate. Knowledgeable guides lead the way in a fun and imaginative way about the history of the winery that’s interesting to all ages. After the tour, the tasting room awaits with an impressive menu of award-winning wines. Tours take place daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Include dining at the wineries Meritage Restaurant and its menu of farm-to-table meals accompanied by live music on the weekends. For wine enthusiasts, Callaway offers memberships to four wine clubs.
