2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV in Temecula, CA

Are you looking for an all-electric vehicle that’s fun to drive in addition to being safe and comfortable? Well, look no further than the 2020 Chevy Bolt. It comes loaded with features and can take you farther than ever before on a single charge. Read on to find out if the 2020 Bolt is a good fit for your eco-friendly lifestyle.

Technology

Staying connected is important no matter where you are, and when you drive the 2020 Chevy Bolt, you’ll have no problem keeping up with your busy life. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration allow you to connect your smartphone to your car so you can access all your favorite and useful apps through the 10.2-inch color touch screen. An available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot lets your passengers use the internet to shop, listen to music, and more all while you’re on the road. You can also customize the information that’s displayed on your driver information cluster display.

Roomy Interior

This compact car is surprisingly roomy on the inside, making it comfortable even on long trips. Up front, you’ll have 37.9 inches of headroom and 41.6 inches of legroom. Your back-seat passengers will enjoy 37.9 inches of headroom and 36.5 inches of legroom. For your gear, there’s a total of 16.9 cubic feet of cargo space in the rear, which isn’t bad for a compact car. However, when you fold down the rear seat, the cargo capacity increases to 56.6 cubic feet. Standard on the Premier trim is a false cargo floor that will give you even more storage space.

Motor and Charging

The electric drive unit that powers the 2020 Bolt produces 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, and it can easily get the car up to speed when you need it to. With electronic precision shift, this all-electric vehicle will glide through the gears unnoticeably.

There are three options when it comes to charging for the Chevy Bolt: basic, fast, and super fast. The basic option is standard and comes with a 120-volt portable charging cord. It will net you about four hours of drive time per hour it’s charging.

The other two options are available for any trim level. You can have a 240-volt charging unit professionally installed in your home which will get you 25 miles of drive time per hour the Bolt is charging. If you prefer the super fast charging method, you can go to a public DC charging station. This will allow you to get up to 100 miles of driving range for only 30 minutes of charging time.

Safety and Security

You don’t have to sacrifice safety for efficiency with the 2020 Bolt. An HD rearview camera helps you see what’s behind you when you’re backing up. Available safety features include forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist. The lane-keeping system will alert you if you start to drift out of your lane without using your turn signal, while the lane change alert with side blind zone alert makes changing lanes a breeze.  Come into Paradise Chevrolet and find out more about the all-electric Chevy Bolt.
